Check Point Brings on R75.46

Check Point is motoring forward with their new version of R75.46.

This brings with it better integration with DDoS appliance (straight into the SmartDashboard) ,  support for IOS 6.1 endpoint on the mobile vpn and huge speed enhancements for SmartReporter/ Smartevent.


Also Wiindows 8 is now supported for SmartConsole/SmartDomain manager.

(along with the numerous bug fixes from previous versions .....)

SmoothWall Update

The long awaited feature that we wanted in our Smoothie's are finally here:

With the most recent updates we can now define firewall rules as "Source , Destination , Ports , Action".

Check it out on your commercial SmoothWall Firewall under :

Networking ---> Outgoing ---> Sources and Destinations 

Before we were only defining traffic between different network Zones. Now we can do specifics:-)
